ABOUT

Celebrating its 24th edition, Curb is a lifestyle magazine produced annually by students in the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Students work together in a capstone course to create written and interactive pieces to share in our print edition and on our website. Past issues of Curb have won national, regional and state awards.

This year’s edition of the magazine aims to take stock of where we are now in the state of Wisconsin. In this issue, we focus on traditions that make our state unique, discover people who are changing the ways we live and explore how our past informs our future.

Curb is sent out each year to 10,000 alumni. We wouldn’t be here today without our school’s alumni who created the past 23 editions of our magazine. Curb is published through generous alumni donations, including support from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication Board of Visitors, and is printed in partnership with Royle Printing in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

Thank you to this year’s online sponsors for making our edition of Curb possible.
